Foodie Friday: Italian Stuffed Shells

This is my all time favorite recipe for Italian stuffed shells, which came about accidentally. I am not the creator of this tasty dish or the chef in the house so I have to give credit to my husband. He chose the ingredients and it turned out really well. Ingredients: ½ Green bell pepper chopped ½ Red bell pepper chopped ½ Orange bell pepper chopped 2 Cups of mushrooms chopped ½ lb. Ground turkey 1 Cup of Ricotta cheese ½ cup Parmesan 1 can of your favorite marinara sauce ¾ cup fresh basil – chopped Dash of Oregano & Garlic salt 1 Box large shell noodles 2 Tablespoon olive oil Fill a pot of water and add olive oil to keep noodles from sticking. Bring to boil. Dump in noodles and let cook til slightly soft. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Braving the Snow-pocolypse

The "snow-pocolypse" of 2015 will probably end up in history books. The mountains of snow piled up left and right. The sub zero temperatures are the worst Michigan has seen in a long time. Freezing wind chills are completely unbearable.  I can imagine that is how Don and Ryan felt as the wind whipped around them, piercing their faces while they raced to dig out a very stuck car. Ryan Miller , Licensed Insurance Agent, received a phone call from his client, Devans, who called to ask if he had towing on his insurance policy. Ryan asked Devans if everything was okay only to find out his client was stuck in a mound of snow in a parking lot 5 minutes from the office.  Because of all the slide offs the average wait time for a tow truck was expected to be two to three hours. Ryan didn’t think twice and suited up to brave the snow-pocolypse and help his client. Don Shampine , President of Michigan InsuranceGroup , always looking for an adventure, grabbed a shovel
