Do I have Roadside Assistance?

If you’re on the side of the road, that’s a great question! If you’re not on the side of the road, shew! It’s still an important question to know the answer to, so you will be well prepared if perhaps you breakdown and need roadside assistance.

Before you ask the question, there’s a few things to know:

First it’s important to know that every auto insurance policy is unique. When a policy is written properly it’s tailored to you, your vehicle and your assets. This means not all insurance policies include roadside assistance, more specifically policies that are liability only. If liability only is the best coverage for you than it is very possible that  your policy does not include Roadside Assistance coverage. However, what if you need this coverage? This brings us to the second thing to know:

Just because you have liability only doesn’t mean you can’t get coverage for towing. It’s important to know that Roadside Assistance coverage is available to you and affordable. Michigan Insurance Group offers Roadside Assistance coverage to all of our clients, including those that have liability only coverage. We feel that this coverage is an important piece to have, not just for the above scenario but, if you run out of gas, need a jump-start because your car battery died or if you lock your keys in the car.

Foodie Friday presents: Grandma Pat's Butterscotch Cookies Have you started planning your list of delicious treats for the holidays? Well, you might want to re-write your grocery list. Add this delicious recipe from Patricia McKie: warm, tasty, sweet butterscotch cookies.   Ingredients: 6 cups corn flakes 6 tbsp peanut butter 1 bag Nestle butterscotch morsels  Serving Size: 24-36 Preparation Time: 5 minutes Cook Time:  20 minutes Directions: Combine peanut butter and butterscotch morsels in a bowl. Microwave mixture for about 1 minute or until mixture is creamy and smooth when stirred. Pour cornflakes into large bowl. Coat cornflakes with melted mixture. Mix until all flakes are covered.
